Challenge:
Design a kitchen environment infusing classical detailing in a transitional yet contemporary space.
Answer:
Using soft, neutral finishes throughout, we created a light and airy kitchen with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and clerestory windows. Clean, cream-colored painted inset cabinetry, dark Emperador marble counters and large limestone floor tiles accented with bronze add to the ambiance. A cozy sitting area surrounded by windows provides a picturesque view of the vineyards.
